we decided openings in LA completely suck, especially for big names like david lynch. Lots of hoity toity types, everyone dressed to impress etc… they are social gatherings of the lamest kind. a close friend’s show, even a friend of a friends show, those could be worth the trouble, but the Lynch/mouse opening… better off catching it another time when the gallery isn’t full and you can actually try and get what Lynch was trying to do. There’s some great contreversy behind the project(artist vs. the man), and the show is worth seeing if the gallery is not packed full of socialites. anyway, i took some photos of the photos and here they are…
